MATT MERCER: SKATEBOARDING EXPERT

Matt “Atreau” Mercer is a professional skateboarder and instructor based in Atlanta, Georgia. With over 29 years of skateboarding experience and more than 24 years dedicated to youth programs, Matt has significantly contributed to the skateboarding community.

+ Skateboarding Experience: Matt began skateboarding in his youth and has since developed a profound expertise in the sport. His dedication led to product endorsements and sponsorships, culminating in a professional skateboard model offered by a California-based brand in 2009.

+ Youth Mentorship: Throughout his career, Matt has worked extensively with various youth programs, camps, group homes, and elementary schools. He has implemented structured play programs, character development initiatives, conflict resolution strategies, and has taught dance, DJing, and skateboarding.
